The end of the PC era [message #228322] Sa, 22 Juli 2006 18:18

Dell, AMD and Intel ....

Finally delivered the bad news: The PC era is over. It is now a
bona fide sunset industry, and therefore, must be outsourced
as quickly as possible. Dell must follow IBM's example by sell-
ing the company to recover the capital.

And return it to investors for more profitable ventures ....

He hates PCs. PCs are the cause of a lot of his headaches. He wishes
the end of PCs so he won't have to deal with it anymore.

sorry, I don't agree to the world "sunset" !!!!
"sunset" means "disappear soon" ; but surely PC is not !!!
I don't know the exact word, it is just declining from the highest position.
when high-tech are first invented, it is in very high/dear price,
the profit is very thick, so by share/profit ratio it is over-stated.
now under serious competition to lower the price to such low level since it
being first introduced, the share price will inevitably fall down from
crest, to be same as other industries.
since no more breakthrough occurs, it is good time to sell to such fools
as PRC, who had no other choice than to squandar big money for inferior
useless goods, because under her monopolistic system, no one will endeavour
to use their brain to make advancement !!!

Well, maybe now may be the time to buy Dell, AMD, and Intel,...

By-the-way, your Qualcom stock is also way down to 34 something. The
last time we talked, it was at 49. Maybe it is an indication that your
best and the brightest are not doing so great?

Most admirable courage ....

This humble netter has the deepest regard for those who are so
brave as to the death-defying act of trying to catch those falling
knives: Dell, AMD and Intel. As to Qualcomm, all of its operating
margins have expanded. Its fundamentals remained intact. And
in the simple mind of this wishful humble netter.

It is, indeed, the best and the brightest ....
