想从硬盘上装win2000，就在XP下格式化了一张DOS启动盘，把98安装 程序下的HIMEM.SYS和SMARTDRV.EXE复制到启动盘里去，并建了confi g.sys,写入 device=himem.sys ,然后用这张盘启动，却在启动时提示：
ERROR: An Extended memory manager is already installed
XMS driver not installed.
问怎么回事,能不能继续装?是否影响加载smartdrv.exe?如有影响， 腋萌绾伟欤

你不必再加载 HIMEM.SYS 了，安装 Windows 2000 无需用到 DOS 高端内存，只在
启动 DOS 实模式后执行一下 SMARTDRV.EXE，然后运行 WINNT.EXE 执行安装即可。
